SANTA CAME!!!!!!

Christmas was a LOT of fun here at my house. We got and gave lots and lots of presents! Here I am, all ready to tear into my first one. This was the day before Christmas. Mommy and Daddy let me open something from Grammy and Pappy and from my Katie.
Awesome! Spiderman!

Now I can shave just like my Daddy!!!

Mommy helped Katie open a present. It was Elmo! Katie needed help opening her stuff. Guess it's because she's still a baby.

Daddy helped me shave. I'm such a big boy! I needed shaving cream...
Daddy put it on my face with that special brush.

And then I shaved my face!

Almost done!

Grammy and Pappy got Katie a tea set, which she really liked. It giggles when she opens the lid, and that makes her giggle, too. She has tea cups to clank against the floor now!
She REALLY, REALLY loves it!

Before Katie and I went nightnight, we left Santa cookies and milk, and a carrot for his reindeer to share. I know all about sharing- I hope the reindeer do, too! Anyway, in the morning it was ALL GONE!!!
Look at me!! I got presents from Santa!!! See my BIG moomoo? And I have a horsie, and this eagle that goes on my hand!!!
A CHOOCHOO!!!!!!! I asked Santa for a choochoo, and HE GAVE ME ONE!!! And my soccer ball, too!!!

Look at my tent, which is lots of fun to play in! Katie liked the paper a lot.
Katie got a froggy that talks and sings. It got noisy, and now she's a little shy around it, but I know she's going to like it again soon.

Here I am, in my tent!
And even Katie got into it!
Thank you very much, Santa!

Gingerbread cookies!

I know this isn't a cookie picture, but Katie just looked cute. She's trying to stand- just like me!
Every year when my Mommy was little, my Grammy made a cookie that looked like her hand. Now Mommy does that with me! Here I am getting my hand ready.

We made other cookies, too. I really enjoyed using the cookie cutters and helping Mommy.

Wow! Here's my cookie- just like my hand! Wonder how it tastes...

Delicious!
Mommy said that Katie is too little for this kind of cookie. Maybe next year...

Playing again

Katie and I have been playing together a lot, trying to show Santa what a good boy and good girl we are. See me letting her sit on my blankie!

Here I am trying to feed Nanners like Mommy feeds Katie!

Mmm, eggnog! Just a tiny bit, but I liked it!

Katie took the blankie off our tree, and Mommy and Daddy thought she looked pretty.

She's a good little sister!

Gingerbread house and St. Nick

Mommy and I decided to make a gingerbread house. It was NOT the quick and easy project Mommy thought it would be! I was very helpful, though.
Here I am, ready to decorate! I was sure to taste all the candy first.

It was all delicious.

Mommy and I put icing all over the house so it looked like snow! The icing was pretty tasty, too.

I really, really liked playing with the candy!

Daddy also helped us.

Not Katie, though. She's just a baby.
She just watched.

Here it is! Want to move in now? Mommy and Daddy told me I did a great job.

And then, later that week, St. Nick came to our house!!! Katie and I put our bowls out, and we must have been good because we got stuff in them!

Katie's was on her high chair tray, and mine was at my big boy chair.

I REALLY like Christmas!!!

Our Christmas tree

Today Mommy, Daddy, Conner, and I went to a store and looked at lots of these trees. They smelled really good, but when I touched them they were sort of ouchy. We looked at lots and lots of them, then chose 1 to bring home with us in the back of Daddy's truck! Daddy brought it into the house and then he and Conner sat it in a special thing. Conner helped make sure it was straight up and down. Mommy and I supervised. I tried to help, too.

Okay Daddy! It's good!

Every year Daddy puts lights on Conner T. before he puts them on the tree. Conner told me about it. I guess Daddy gets confused.

Conner thinks it's funny!

Those lights were really pretty, though. I liked them a lot!

I wanted to play with them more, but Daddy had to get the tree ready.

Conner got something to put on the tree all by himself. It's called an ornament. His looks just like Handy Manny and his motorcycle, and Conner drove it around the house.

Then he very carefully put it on the tree.
He did a great job! Too bad he didn't LEAVE it there!! He played with it too much, and Pat the Hammer came off. Now we're only allowed to play with the soft, chewy ornaments.

I tried to help decorate the tree too!

Conner likes to tell me what to do. I like to let him think I'm paying attention.

Really, I just like to play with the tree. It smells so good!
I think I'm really going to enjoy my first Christmas!
