Zoo too!

Today Mommy, Daddy, my big brother Conner, and I went to the zoo again. This time I was awake the whole time!! I was a very brave girl, as you'll see. Much braver than my big brother!

Here he is playing in the water. I didn't do it. I'm still a baby. He really had fun, and told me we'll play together when I'm bigger.

As soon as I can walk, I'll be there too!

He led Daddy all over the place.

I just shielded my eyes from that big, shiny, hot thing in the sky.

I wasn't allowed out of the stroller much, but Conner was. He enjoyed looking at all the animals and told me about them, too.

I just stayed in my spot and looked pretty.

Conner liked looking at this pond, but I didn't see anything great about it.

This was a Key Deer, he said.

He sat in this ride, but Mommy and Daddy didn't make it go.

Daddy took him to pet some things in this pool!

I waited outside with Mommy.

Conner wouldn't even touch those things!!! He said they were scary. Mommy said I'm a girl, and I'll be tougher than him. Maybe next time Daddy will take me to see them!

Daddy did make sure to wash Conner's hands carefully.

Here they are coming back to meet Mommy and me.

Next, Conner checked out the turtles. He told me they were digging a big hole.

He likes to talk to the fishies.

This is an otter, but he's talking to it, too.

Sometimes I suck my thumb to entertain myself. Here I am. It's so tasty!

Next, Mommy and Daddy thought Conner might like to go with Mommy on a ride on an animal called a camel. Nope! He pitched a fit!!! I wanted to go, but I'm too little. Sigh.

The man with the camel thought it was funny!

So, instead of riding the camel, we watched a big elephant take a bath.

I got to feed this big thing! It's like my brother's bedtime friend, Nanners, but bigger. He was afraid again, and screeched. Boys.

Mommy and I talked to it. It said to tell Conner hi.

He even posed for pictures!

As we were riding along, we saw this. Mommy called it a llama. It was the prettiest animal I ever saw!! I even petted it!
I was so happy to meet her. Her name was Angie. She's 3, so she's a big girl. I love her!

I want one for my very own...
I was SO sorry to go away from the llama.
ANOTHER thing I'm too little for- the merry-go-round.
I entertained myself while Mommy and I waited for Daddy and Conner T.

They had a blast!
Conner even waved to me!

While I had a snack, Conner went into this small fenced area. He told me he played with the goats.
He said he likes them much better than camels.
Maybe next time I can play, too.
He said he thinks they'll like to play with me!

After he played with the goats, he played in more fountains, and had a great time. I was still eating.

He's all wet!

When I was done, I stayed with Daddy while Mommy took Conner for a ride on the choo-choo. They waved to me!

Conner said it was a lot of fun, and he also said that when I get bigger he'll ride it with me- I can't wait!
The zoo is a lot of fun, and so is our blog. We'll write again soon!

2024 Olympics, here I come!!

Before I show you what I can do now, here are a few pictures of me that I had Daddy take. I have SO much fun in the summers!!!

Katie doesn't get swaddled any more, and Daddy misses rolling her up. Instead, he rolled ME up in the quilt from his big boy bed! Mommy and Daddy grew a tomato plant for me- yum!

I tried to pick it, but I accidentally got a green one. Oops!

Katie can go in the water now!

She's not a big boy like me, so she has a boat. Mommy pushes her.

she really likes it. Honest! Even when I throw water on her!

Now, here I go! I can SWIM!!! Like a big boy!!!

Mommy and Daddy race me, and I always win.

I can go to the steps...

Hi! Come on in- the water's great!

Practicing my stroke. Where will the Olympics be? Mommy wants her tickets NOW!

I can even jump in off the shelf! But only if Mommy or Daddy is with me...
