DUCKIES!!!!!

Oh, my goodness. My Daddy got us the coolest new toys. But first, a few pictures of my baby sister. This is her new bathing suit. She doesn't swim as well as I do, but even a big brother can see how cute she is! I was checking out my fishies here.

She can tell what the Steelers do- just like me! And look at her walking!
Okay, now to the business of the post.

When Daddy came home today, of we went to get out new friends!!
DUCKIES!!!!
My friend Hannah showed them to me.
Then Daddy let me pet one! Yes, Grammy, my Mommy made me wash my hands afterward.
They were cute and fuzzy, and they tickled too!
Katie isn't sure if she likes them yet.

But I do! Katie and I were allowed to play with them. Mommy and Daddy kept telling us to be gentle. Our duckies are just babies, you know. Even more babyish than my Katie Marie!
I LOVE this little guy!
Katie is interested, but doesn't know what to think yet.

He loves me! And I love my ducky, too.
Nope. She doesn't like them. AT ALL.
What a great day!!!

Hanging around at home

Last weekend we didn't go anywhere. Bummer. BUT, I did get to do all kinds of fun things at home. Mommy and Daddy let me take my bike outside to ride on the sidewalk!! I kept saying VROOM, and BUMP as I went along, and Mommy and Daddy laughed a lot. I had to get off my bike to turn around.
Here I go!

I am SO proud of myself!

While I was out riding, and Mommy was taking pictures, this is what Katie was doing. SHE'S IN TROUBLE!!!

Oops!

I also showed Katie how to play with one of my old toys. I'm a good big brother.

Katie started to play with it just like me! My new favorite game is MarioKart. I drive a car on the TV. I'm really good at it!! It only takes me 9 minutes to drive 1 lap!

Sometimes Daddy races against me, and I let him win.

Daddy said my driving makes him carsick. I don't know what he means.
And again, Katie was off getting into trouble.

Oops again.

This is another one of her favorite games. She likes to put things into something and take them out again. So silly!
I can even sleep through her noise! Well, not really. I was just pretending.

And finally, here's one last thing my little sister likes to do. She can brush her hair all by herself!

We had lots and lots of fun...

Yard work

My big brother and I helped our Daddy with yard work yesterday. Actually, I helped and Conner played. You'll see that later. Here I am helping Daddy take things from place to place in the big wagon. It was just like a ride at the zoo! Weeeeee!

Mommy found really pretty wildflowers growing, and she let me play with one. Daddy said she'd better take the picture fast so I didn't eat it!

I saw my doggie and was very excited.

I had to go inside, though, so I didn't get a sunburn. I ate some Cheerios. I LOVE my Os!

While I was busy helping Mommy cook dinner, Daddy and Conner found something. I don't know what it was, though. Conner was pretty excited by it.

This is what they found. Mommy said it's a toad. Conner hopped around and said Ribbit to it a lot.

Here he is looking at it in the little house Daddy made it.

I know his shirt is backwards. He got dressed all by himself after he hopped into the pool.

I wonder if his toad will still be there today!

My sister can walk! (And some other things we've done)

One of my favorite things to do is put money in my piggy bank. It's not really a piggy bank, though. It's an airplane bank. Here I am stuffing my dollar in there. I LOVE to do this! My Aunt Beth got it for me for Christmas, and I always ask Mommy and Daddy for money to put in there. Katie doesn't know how to use hers yet so I put the money in hers for her. It's girly, though. It looks like a pink castle. Aunt Beth got it for her, too.
Money's gone!
Later that day, Mommy and Daddy took me to see a biiiig truck. The man who lives down the street drives one ad he came over to see if I'd like to visit it. I thought it would be fun...

But I was WRONG! It was scary! Daddy had to help me look at everything. I didn't even want to pretend I was driving it. Too big!

Maybe some other time...

Here's my little sister Katie reading a book. She can't really read like me, though. She's too little. I had to tell her what the book said. Plus, it's upside down!

Here I am playing with my new toy car. I call it my Bumblebee car. It's yellow with black stripes just like a bumblebee!
Katie can walk now!!! Mommy and I tried and tried to teach her, and she can do it!

I drove m car over to the fence to look for the moomoos.
Mommy is trying to get her to walk for the camera.

There she goes! Katie can walk!! She walked 14 steps today. I didn't count them. I can count to 14, but I wasn't paying attention when she did it.

Good job, Katie!
