I'm a runner!

I'm a runner now!!! Just like my Grammy, Pappy, Aunt Beth, and Mommy!!!
Yesterday when Mr. Sun came up, Mommy FINALLY took me running. I even have new running shoes that I got last weekend. They make my feet go BOING, and they make me run fast!
Before we went running, I had to stretch. Mommy showed me how.
I'm ready to go!
Look at my running shoes next to Mommy's!
A close-up. They are SUCH COOL SHOES.
Whew. I was sweaty when we got done! Mommy said we ran about a mile and a quarter. I ran the whole first half mile, then Mommy made me take some walk breaks. I saw a garbage truck, a police car, a van, a kitty, and some people who waved and even clapped for me!
I can't wait until next weekend, when Mommy will take me again!

Getting bigger!

I'm getting to be a very big girl! I've moved from my high chair to the booster chair, and I sit at the table now. I even try to use my big girl fork!
Scrambled eggies are kind of hard to stab onto my fork, so I had to use my hands.
Mmmm.... Yummy!
Eggies are great!
I also like to play with my doggie, Snickers. I love wearing my shoes! I got some very cool new shoes. Mommy will take pictures of them soon.
Mommy and Daddy say Snickers is very patient with me.
One day I put ALL my toys on Daddy! It was really fun.
I told him all about them, too.
Grammy and Pappy got me this pretty bath mitt. It makes bath time fun!
I'm ready, Mommy! Put me in my tubby!

The Beach

Some kids and their Mommy and Daddy came to visit us last week. They were really nice, and they brought some toys with them. I really liked this dolly!! I played with it a lot.
We went to eat, and Katie played with her O's and the zebra.
I let them play in my room. I know how to share!
They even read books to me!
While they were here, we went to a biiiig beach, much bigger than the one by my pool, and it had waves in the water! Katie didn't like it AT ALL at first, but then she got used to it. I loved it!
She's just a baby, so I guess she was scared.
I loved how the waves splashed me, but Katie didn't.
I was ready for anything. I played in the sand and marched right into the water to cool off!
The water was a very pretty green color. Mommy and her friend Gabie took a walk to a fort (I don't know what a fort is) to take pictures and see what it was all about. She explained it to me, but I was too busy playing to pay much attention.
Mommy did tell me that this is where grown-ups go when they need a time out.
Big cannons!
The little girl who brought the dollies shared her apple with me, too!
My truck wasn't working. I think it needs a tow.
I checked under the hood to see if I could fix it...
No luck. Guess I'd better get it to the side of the road!
