Watching the fishies

After going to catch fishies yesterday, we decided to go visit them today. Conner was even allowed to touch some, but Mommy and Daddy said I had to stay in my stroller. Here he's trying to touch a ray.

He loves to say Cheese!

I enjoyed looking through windows made just for me!

This picture flipped itself back around somehow. Mommy flipped it the right way for me, but I guess you'll have to turn sideways to see it. Conner is looking at the fishies in the ceiling! Oh, my!

Conner is brave, because THOSE fishies are as big as me!

I was trying to catch the birdies. It didn't work.

Don't tell Mommy and Daddy, but I can read the signs myself. I didn't really need them to tell me about all the things we saw!

I wasn't worried, because I knew my big brother would protect me.

But I did get sleepy!!! Night night!

A trip to the beach

Today we went to the beach. I told me Daddy I wanted to go fishing, so we went to a park near our house. While they waited for Daddy and me to buy bait, Katie went and played in the playground. She loved the swings!

They made her sleepy, and she sucked her thumb while she went for a ride.

Katie's too little to fish, so she just played on the beach. She did NOT like her sun hat, but Mommy made her wear it anyway.

The sand was too soft for her to walk in, and she kept trying to escape.

Look at me! I'm such a big boy!

Here I am helping Daddy with the bait. We used little fishies to catch big fishies, but all we really caught was a crab, and it jumped off my hook before I could eat it.

We all had lots of fun!

Our favorite place

Today we went to our favorite place- the ZOO!!! My hair was extra curly, and I loved showing it off.

My big brother went for a horsie ride again! I'm still too little. Mommy said I'll get big enough soon, but I can't wait! I want to go N-O-W!!!

He thinks he's funny when he smiles like this. I think he's funny-looking.

Mommy loved these llamas and kept showing me to them.

Conner just wanted to talk to the horsie.

My Aunt Shelly let me pet a goat! And then she helped me wash my hands...

Here I go, off to pet another one!

Conner liked the penguins, but he was on the move all day...

And so was I! While Conner waited to ride a camel (again, I was too little. Boo.) I walked up and down this ramp.

I finally found my friends, the flamingos!

And here comes Conner again!

He was so silly. He threw this leaf in their pen, and thought they would eat it!

Oops! This got out of order. Oh, well. I'm only 1, and I'm new at this computer stuff.

Conner was with Aunt Shelly and Uncle Duane and fed the giraffe!

He really loved it.

And here he is on the camel- sitting all by himself this time!

But Uncle Duane held on tight just in case Conner got fidgety.

He went for a ride in this big apple with that big worm as his co-pilot, too!

Finally, Mommy and Daddy let him play in the fountains before we left. He tried to take off all his clothes!!! They made him keep his Elmo underwear on.

My big brother was having so much fun! I wanted to get out, too. Mommy said maybe next time.

We had a great day, and I can't wait to go again!
