Puzzles

This was a very fun afternoon for me. Katie had a little trouble and needed some time-outs. We mostly played and had a good time, though. We did puzzles today!
Katie has little baby puzzles.
I have really, really hard, big boy puzzles.
She does a good job!
So do I. Mommy laughs at me, because I say, "It's a match!" or "It's not a match!" every time I put a piece in the frame.
Katie watches to learn how it's done.
See? It's a match!
Almost finished!
All done! And all by myself, too!
Katie also enjoyed walking in Daddy's flippy floppies.
Daddy played a Cars game with me!
Oops, there she is in time out! She hit me, and I was quick to tell Mommy ALL about it.
She also enjoyed playing with my shoes! I let her, because she's a good baby sister... Most of the time!

We love you!

Dear Grammy,
Mommy told us it's your birthday today, so we did a post for you!
Here I am loving my Katie. I mean, sitting on her. I mean, playing nicely.
I want to stand on my head! I will show you when you visit.
Katie is trying to learn to swim to show off for you when you come.
Showing off again!
I have a little message for you...

We love you very much, Grammy!
Love,
Conner and Katie

A trip to Hogwarts!

Our Mommy went to visit Hogwarts on a field trip last week. I think she wants to be a teacher there. We told her she could do a post about it on our blog!
This was my first view of Hogwarts Castle. Yes, I DO want to teach there!
First sight of Hogsmeade Village.
Can you tell I was fascinated by the castle?
Outside Quality Quidditch Supplies. In the window is a uniform AND the case of balls! They shake and rattle and make noises. Guess the Bludgers really want out.
Looking down the street away from the castle.
In the window of the Owl Post!
All the packages waiting to be delivered.
Guess these owls needed a break.
The Monster Book of Monsters really does look mean! We weren't allowed to stroke it, though.
Looking at the castle again!
These are the R-E-A-L brooms!!!! They're tied down, of course.
There are moving pictures in these portraits, but they must have gone elsewhere when I took this picture.
I'm in Gryffindor, of course.
Bow to Buckbeak!
Hagrid's hut. Amazing! Buckbeak is tied in the garden.
Heading back into the village.
I met the conductor of the Hogwarts Express!
There's a Mandrake in this window, and boy, was he cranky! Must not be ready to harvest yet.
I didn't know Gringotts had ATMs!
Butterbeer really IS as good as you'd think, but the pumpkin juice I got in Honeydukes (The windows at the right of the picture) was even better.
The Hogwarts Express!
Hope they take this luggage up to the school soon!

Fun at home

Yummy! Our Grammy and Pappy sent us this delicious ice cream! It's very strange, though. It's crunchy and it doesn't melt. Mommy said it's ice cream that the astronauts eat. I don't care WHO eats it as long as I can!
Mmm, good!Grammy and Pappy had to send me my own package. Mommy doesn't share.
Neither do I!
Mommy does share some things, though, so we got her something pretty for Mommy's Day. It was a fruit basket that looked like flowers!
My little sister doesn't eat space man ice cream, but she plays in other ways. Daddy was silly one night and dressed her up in one of his shirts!
Katie likes to pretend she's shopping some times. Today she was buying me Another Ones.
She also likes to play Pat-A-Cake. Here she is rolling it all by herself!
Mommy put some toys in her room, and she likes to play with them. These are her Weeble Wobble eggies. They're eggies, so they live in the ducky basket. She also like to play Hide in her changing table just like I did!
Where's Katie?
Here she is, and her dolly, too!
Katie likes it when Mommy and Daddy take her picture.
There she goes again!
