A new place to visit

Today Mommy and Daddy took us to a new aquarium. It was a looong car ride, but we talked the whole time, and I saw lots of cars and trucks, so it was pretty cool. The new place is called Mote Marine Aquarium, and Mommy and Daddy explained that it's also a big doctor's office for sick water animals. Here I am looking at the fishies!
This ray showed me his belly, which I thought was funny.
This guy is an eel. It's a lot like a snake but in the water, I think.
I liked these jellies. The man was telling us all about them, and he said they don't have mouths!!! How do they brush their teeth, then?
Daddy helped me look at lots of creatures.
Katie was very interested, too!
She really had fun today!
Mommy said this is the cutest turtle she ever saw. Silly Mommy! It's ME!
Ohhh... Look at all these little anemones...
I touched them very, very carefully.
I did NOT touch the sharks.
But we both liked watching them swim!
Katie thought they were very interesting.
These are jaws from a Great White Shark. I really like watching them on TV. This guy could eat me, he was so big!
This was a Hammerhead shark that somebody really caught. I don't think I want to see any of them when I go fishing next time. Mommy asked me to stand next to him and I wouldn't!!
But I was very happy to try and pet the stingrays.
Watching Mr. Shark eat lunch!
I was very intent on seeing those big guys eating.
They learned to go eat at these road signs in the water. Smart sharks!
Katie really, really had fun watching.
Next, we went to see more animals at another building. Mommy liked this painting. She said a famous guy paints whales on buildings all over the country.
DOLPHINS!!!!!! Oh, I loved them. They talked to me! They said, "Squeek!! Squeek!! Chirp!" I don't know what that meant, though.
They even showed me their toy! I like to play with toys in my pool, too.
I could have watched them for hours...
This turtle popped his head out to say hi, too. He looks grumpy. I don't know why.
They had special windows for little people like Katie and me to watch through, too.
He was playing with this toy.
Some turtles are ginormous! Wow!
This is a special escape hatch for turtles to use when people use nets to fish. They swim along it...
and escape through the end!
Peek-a-boo, turtle!
This turtle is just a baby, even littler than Katie! She was born on Monday.
This sign told Mommy and Daddy about her.
We had a really fun time. I can't wait to go to Sea World next!

Our favorite place

A few pictures before we go off to the zoo... Conner fell asleep on the couch with Daddy the other day. Daddy isn't asleep- just pretending!
He went to his very first movie- Cars 2! He told me all about it when he got home, and said I'll like it when I'm a big girl.
Once again, we were off to the zoo. It's one of our favorite places, you know, and as I'm getting bigger I like it more and more.
Conner and Daddy were looking at a BIG lizard. It's bigger than Conner!!!!
I really liked watching that big rhino.
Conner was looking for a snow leopard. She was asleep. Must have been nap time.
We saw the kangaroos, just like the ones on my wall! This Mommy had a baby in her pocket, and he wiggled his ear at me. I wish my Mommy would carry me all the time like this Mommy does!
Conner likes to show me the big fishies.
Daddy showed him the turtle.
"Come on, guys! Let's go!"
Ooh, the llama!!! I loved her. She's very soft and fluffy.
Conner went for a llama ride AND a horsie ride!
Daddy was showing him the biiiig bats. They have very long arms with wings on them, and they hang upside down all day. I like to go upside down with Mommy or Daddy, but I don't think I'd like to do it all day long.
We had chicken and fries for lunch, and I really enjoyed my food.
Conner was getting on the ride, and I saw him!
Daddy is putting him in the banana. I don't think he could eat that banana.
Vroom!
Conner went flying WAY up in the air on his banana! Why don't my bananas fly? The only do that when I throw them, and then I get in trouble.
Conner does not look like he liked this llama, but he really did. In fact...
He gave her a carrot to eat!
He also liked this camel. I can't wait to ride it with Mommy. He looked very little on that tall guy.
But he had a great time!
I always like talking to the elephants.
This is a REAL cage they used to bring an elephant to this zoo! I guess Conner is a lot smaller than that elephant was.
He likes the Merry-go-round. Next time I'm going to ride on it too!
We saw the Great and Growly bear, and Mommy told us that Pappy will show us one some time when we visit him. She said that Pappy likes to take pictures of bears, and sometimes he gets very close. Grammy is apparently wiser and stays back from them.
Oh, the flamingos... How I love them... I showed them my shoes, and they said that the shoes are very pretty.
Conner really loved those alligators.
Mommy said my hair was very curly from the hot weather.
Poor sad baby manatee has cuts all over his back! When I grow up if I drive a boat I will be very, very careful not to hurt them.
Conner was showing me all the fun things. He's a good stroller driver!
