Today Mommy and Daddy took us to a new aquarium. It was a
looong car ride, but we talked the whole time, and I saw lots of cars and trucks, so it was pretty cool. The new place is called Mote Marine Aquarium, and Mommy and Daddy explained that it's also a big doctor's office for sick water animals. Here I am looking at the
fishies!

This ray showed me his belly, which I thought was funny.

This guy is an eel. It's a lot like a snake but in the water, I think.

I liked these jellies. The man was telling us all about them, and he said they don't have mouths!!! How do they brush their teeth, then?

Daddy helped me look at lots of creatures.

Katie was very interested, too!

She really had fun today!

Mommy said this is the cutest turtle she ever saw. Silly Mommy! It's ME!
Ohhh... Look at all these little anemones...

I touched them very, very carefully.

I did NOT touch the sharks.

But we both liked watching them swim!

Katie thought they were very interesting.

These are jaws from a Great White Shark. I really like watching them on TV. This guy could eat me, he was so big!

This was a Hammerhead shark that somebody really caught. I don't think I want to see any of them when I go fishing next time. Mommy asked me to stand next to him and I wouldn't!!

But I was very happy to try and pet the stingrays.

Watching Mr. Shark eat lunch!

I was very intent on seeing those big guys eating.

They learned to go eat at these road signs in the water. Smart sharks!

Katie really, really had fun watching.

Next, we went to see more animals at another building. Mommy liked this painting. She said a famous guy paints whales on buildings all over the country.

DOLPHINS!!!!!! Oh, I loved them. They talked to me! They said, "
Squeek!!
Squeek!! Chirp!" I don't know what that meant, though.

They even showed me their toy! I like to play with toys in my pool, too.

I could have watched them for hours...

This turtle popped his head out to say hi, too. He looks grumpy. I don't know why.

They had special windows for little people like Katie and me to watch through, too.

He was playing with this toy.

Some turtles are ginormous! Wow!

This is a special escape hatch for turtles to use when people use nets to fish. They swim along it...

and escape through the end!

Peek-a-boo, turtle!

This turtle is just a baby, even littler than Katie! She was born on Monday.

This sign told Mommy and Daddy about her.
We had a really fun time. I can't wait to go to Sea World next!
