Busch Gardens

Yesterday I went to a new place! It's called Busch Gardens. I went with Mommy, Daddy, my bog brother Conner, and our friends Chris and Hannah. I went in the big girl stroller!! And I didn't even have to sit in my car seat!

Here are Conner and Hannah posing with the BIG Miba. Mommy said it's a gorilla, but I think I like to call it a Miba.
Conner really liked seeing them in real life. He talked to this guy, who then came over to say hello. It was pretty cool.

He liked Hannah, too!

Here he is saying HI to my big brother and asking when we can play with him, I think.

Conner LOVED the Mibas!

This big Miba was taking a nap. He looked almost as cozy as I feel in my cribby!

There was a lady holding a baby alligator for kids to pet. Mommy said I was too little to see it, and maybe next year I can try. Conner was a big chicken and wouldn't even look.

We went on the merry-go-round! I had to sit with Daddy on the big bench, but Conner rode this horsie. He kept saying, "Yee-ha!"

Here I am just looking pretty.

Daddy and Chris took Conner and Hannah to watch the boat make a big splash.

Here it comes!

Whoosh!!

Next, I met Big Bird! He's a real TV star! I loved looking at his bright feathers. Conner was scared of him. Boys.

And finally, here's the BEST part of my WHOLE day! I MET GROVER!!!!!! He's really soft and cuddly. I petted his fur, and he smiled and blew me kisses. Oh, I just loved Grover! That's Zoe with us, but I didn't even look at her. Just Grover. My Grammy is REALLY jealous that I met him! See him hugging me? And I'm telling him how much my Grammy loves him, too.
It was a great day, and I can't wait to go back and see Grover again!

Fun together

Katie and I had lots of fun together this week! Tonight I decided I wanted to feed her her cereal, and Mommy let me! Katie thought I did a good job, as you'll see. She chased after the spoon!
I kept telling her to open up.

And I used my mouth to show her what to do, just like my Mommy does!

She really liked her dinner tonight.
Last night we played in the tubby. I love my tubby toys!

I liked showing my Katie Marie how to make waves. I have to show her these things because she's just a baby.

Mommy let me help wash Katie's hair, too!
Katie thought it was a great time.

I'm such a good big brother!

Play time!

My Grammy has been BEGGING for a new post lately, but as you'll see, we've been very busy.
I've been playing with a lot of new toys and learning to do new things, like saying, "Mama!". My brother has been busy playing with his cars. Plus, he started preschool and I go to day camp now! We're both very happy at our places, but we love it most at home with Mommy and Daddy.

Here I am in my walker. I can only go backwards, but it's fun anyway. Conner helped Daddy organize his vinyl supplies.
Conner likes to watch Mommy and Daddy play our Wii, so Daddy decided to let him try it. It did NOT go well. Mommy and I found them hilarious.

They tried tennis. Notice that Conner is swinging the racket even though there's no game on the TV. Boys.

Here he goes, playing baseball. Strike him out, Daddy!

Here I am on my first day of school! I love it there. Katie can't go. She's just a baby. I do lots of fun things there, and I wake up ready to GO!

I still enjoy playing with my vroom vrooms. Dumping them out makes SUCH a great noise!

Sometimes I have trouble getting them back in their places, but Mommy or Daddy are always there to help me.

I'm getting ready for the first Steelers preseason game by saying, "TOUCHDOWN!!!!" I love my new jersey, and say, "Steelers!" when I see it.

I also enjoy playing with Katie Marie. She likes to play with me, too!

I gave Katie my old toys, but she doesn't quite know how to use them yet. She's just a baby, you know. She tries hard, though!

I can, too, use them! I can make them sing to me!

And I can pull these shiny things off the pole!

Even though Katie Marie is just a baby, she's a pretty cool little sister, and we love each other a lot.
