Labor Day at the Zoo

Mommy, Daddy, Conner, and I went to the zoo this afternoon. I'm getting bigger now, and I really enjoy seeing and talking to all the animals.
Mommy and I liked seeing how Daddy and Conner were dressed alike!
Don't worry, this isn't a REAL lizard, but I still had fun riding on it.
The tiger was there! She was taking her nap.
This baby rhino is only 6 weeks old. I liked him a lot.
Conner really enjoyed those chimps.
I told them HI, but they didn't say anything back. I guess they're shy.
We all went on the merry-go-round!
I wasn't so sure if I liked it or not.
I had to hold on really tight. Did you know they go up and down????
I kept saying, "Hi, llama!" My mommy was so proud.
I really liked that llama.
Conner got to ride the pony! I'll do it when I'm a big girl.
Mommy and Daddy took us in to pet these little llamas. Mommy and Daddy told me they're goats, but I just kept calling them llamas too.
Conner was doing this one's hair, I guess.
I thought they were fun!
I wonder what he was saying to it.
Daddy got a little cup of birdseed for these little birdies.
Conner even held it! Of course, it flapped his wings once, and then he did the pee-pee dance and scared it away. Boys. I guess they're just not as tough as girls.
Then we went to see the penguins, which I really really loved.
I wanted to swim with him!
And I wanted to hug him, too.
This was a very funny penguin!
Daddy caught this teeny-tiny baby lizard for Conner to hold.
Who thinks they can guess what happened next? You're right. Conner got scared and did the pee-pee dance and the lizard ran away.
I spent a lot of time walking! My new shoes are very comfortable.
Mommy and Conner rode the camel. They enjoyed it a lot, and I am VERY anxious for my 2nd birthday, when I can ride them too.
Conner and Daddy looking at the crocs.
He got to feed stingrays! I didn't want to get my hands anywhere near that slimy fish they give you.
He had fun, though.
He did a good job!
Boy, I wish our Pappy would do a blog post. My big brother and I love looking at pictures of our Grammy and Pappy. Sigh...
