Around our house

We do a lot of playing around our house, as you'll see in these pictures. I'm still dressed in my jammies, and I'm eating some cereal. I got to eat it right from the bag!!!!
Katie likes to take her dollies for rides in the shopping cart, just like our Mommy does with us in the big shopping carts.
She's showing Mommy what the Steelers do.
I'm learning how to dance, and I practice all the time!

Mommy baked scones last weekend. They were VERY good, especially when she put this stuff on them. It was like jelly, only not. It was called Lemon Curd. It sounds yucky, but I loved it!
See? Yum!
Showing off my running shoes.
And Katie was busy looking at her new shoes, too!

Play time

I'm all ready for nightnight. We play hard in my house!!!
My big brother's kitty had a bath today. Conner loves her a lot, so he was glad to have her back.
See? Kitty is all clean!
Kitty and Nanners are Conner's best friends.
My Daddy shares his food with me, and I open my mouth like a baby bird to show him I'm ready for a bite.
I have my Daddy well trained!
Conner was eating pizza, and he was SO happy with it!
Our Mommy makes us pancakes, and I open my mouth for them too. I can feed myself, though.
Sometimes I have temper tantrums. Mommy took this picture, and I was not happy. That's all the discussion we need to have on this issue.
Lately I've been playing with my dollies a lot. I carry them around and say "dolly" and hug them and rock them and I even take them for rides in my shopping cart.
Mommy likes to take me to see dollies in the store, and I like to look at them. I heard about some really neat dollies called American Girls. How long until I can have one of them, I wonder???

Labor Day at the Zoo

Mommy, Daddy, Conner, and I went to the zoo this afternoon. I'm getting bigger now, and I really enjoy seeing and talking to all the animals.
Mommy and I liked seeing how Daddy and Conner were dressed alike!
Don't worry, this isn't a REAL lizard, but I still had fun riding on it.
The tiger was there! She was taking her nap.
This baby rhino is only 6 weeks old. I liked him a lot.
Conner really enjoyed those chimps.
I told them HI, but they didn't say anything back. I guess they're shy.
We all went on the merry-go-round!
I wasn't so sure if I liked it or not.
I had to hold on really tight. Did you know they go up and down????
I kept saying, "Hi, llama!" My mommy was so proud.
I really liked that llama.
Conner got to ride the pony! I'll do it when I'm a big girl.
Mommy and Daddy took us in to pet these little llamas. Mommy and Daddy told me they're goats, but I just kept calling them llamas too.
Conner was doing this one's hair, I guess.
I thought they were fun!
I wonder what he was saying to it.
Daddy got a little cup of birdseed for these little birdies.
Conner even held it! Of course, it flapped his wings once, and then he did the pee-pee dance and scared it away. Boys. I guess they're just not as tough as girls.
Then we went to see the penguins, which I really really loved.
I wanted to swim with him!
And I wanted to hug him, too.
This was a very funny penguin!
Daddy caught this teeny-tiny baby lizard for Conner to hold.
Who thinks they can guess what happened next? You're right. Conner got scared and did the pee-pee dance and the lizard ran away.
I spent a lot of time walking! My new shoes are very comfortable.
Mommy and Conner rode the camel. They enjoyed it a lot, and I am VERY anxious for my 2nd birthday, when I can ride them too.
Conner and Daddy looking at the crocs.
He got to feed stingrays! I didn't want to get my hands anywhere near that slimy fish they give you.
He had fun, though.
He did a good job!
Boy, I wish our Pappy would do a blog post. My big brother and I love looking at pictures of our Grammy and Pappy. Sigh...

Daddy's Little Helpers

This weekend we got to help our Daddy with yard work!
We both enjoyed mowing the yard.
Katie liked to take breaks...
But then she hopped up and got right back to work!
I guess something needed adjusting on her mower.
Helping Daddy cut trees.
I helped Daddy trim the junky trees growing on the back side of our fence.
And I mowed with the big mower, too! (Not really. I was just pretending.)
I needed my wagon to help out.
Daddy and Katie took a short break to watch a lizard.
"Where did it go?"
Katie and I loaded the branches into my wagon...
I tried to load her mower, too. She was not happy.
And we moved the branches to the other side of the yard.
Katie on a break again, watching the fishies!
We were big helpers, and had a lot of fun, too!
